Focuside is a progressive hard rock band from Vienna, Austria. 

Founded in 2016 they started as a fun project between students of the Vienna Conservatory music university. 

Tom Perry, co-founder and lead guitarist who also produces theyr tracks was looking for fellow students to perform songs by Slash. 

Katharina „KK“ Thaller with her unique and memorable voice and Patrick Peschat are members ever since. 

A few rehearsals in they already knew that their combo had potential and they started to work out old song ideas they brought with from their former band projects. 

2018 Focuside released their first EP „Message From Paradise“ which would determine the course of the bands musical direction.

The EP was featured with multiple Songs in nation wide radio stations.

During these years, Focuside were also invited to play showcases at the „Made in Pecs“ Festival, The Hafen Open Air as well as being awarded finalist of one of that regions largest  band contests „Planet Festival Tour“ 

2019 Polish drummer Igor Derzco joined the group and made them recognizable as „the band with the hardest hitting drummer there is“.

2020 Familliar circumstances led the band to release the single „Gone“ which reached 12.000 streams on spotify within its first 2 month after release and until today remains the bands most played song on local radio with 20 to 30 shazams weekly.

since 2021 Focuside are working on the next big release „Zero Gravity“ which is planed to be released Q2 2022 and once again will underline the bands strong lyrics, catchy arrangements and powerful performance.
